Looking over Elena’s blog I find one of the perceived missions to be to inform the readers of current events. The other perceived mission is Elena sharing her opinion on the issues at hand. I don’t see a mission statement or a vision statement, but I think that both are pretty easy to see.
Some of the strengths of the blog include; layout, color, links, polls and posts among others. To start with I really like the layout with the chosen colors. The blog is very easy to read with zero distractions on the sides. This blog is very clean looking. The links to other sources of information is also great. It shows that Elena is doing more than just trying to pass the class and it shows me that she is actually interested in politics, which is my perception. Another thing that I really like about the blog is the posts and how they include the bibliographies on the bottom of the posts. This makes it easier to check out the sources for on your own.
I can’t say there is much to complain about the blog here, but one thing I found is the different font, size and spacing that are used in the posts. That is probably the only thing I would change on the blog. I would try to use the same font with the same spacing and the same size on my posts. This would make the posts easier to read and make it easier to point something important out by changing to a different font or style.
Overall I really like and appreciate Elena’s blog. The blog is very easy to read and has some good links on it as well. The color and the flow of the blog are very easy to follow. I also appreciate the links and the bibliographies that are listed on the blog. Very nice blog and very well done. I really like it. As a disclaimer I would just like to add that I am no blog expert, but this one looks good.

This video isn't too recent, but hits on a few interesting points in regarding the relationship between our government and the private sector. Personally, I had a hard time this week, but still thought for those of you in my situation, this video might help.
